DrySense

The DrySense incontinence monitoring system connects patients, caregivers, and family members. DrySense is a smart incontinence monitoring device specifically designed for individuals in wheelchairs. When a seated individual experience's a void event (urination or defecation), DrySense simultaneously notifies caregivers via a mobile application to assist the patient. DrySense drastically improves patient care quality and comfort while decreasing the stigmatization, shame, and loss of control associated with incontinence. Using DrySense improves caregiver performance, increases their bond with patients, and reduces the time, energy, anxiety, and burnout associated with toileting services.
